front end leveling

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 17-Dec-01 AT 10:28 PM (EST)]I have a 99 superduty ext cab v10 4x4. It sits very high in the back and low in the front. I was thinking about an add a leaf for the front. can I install one myself. how hard of a job is it? Oh, what is a decent shock for my truck. I have a snowplow which will go on as soon as it snows here!

If it was me, I would get a new set of springs with 2" of lift for the front of your truck. I have some experense with snow plows and what thay do with add-a-leaf kits. The add-a-leaf kit is not hard to install, you will need a good jack, jack stands, vise, C clamps and good hand tools. It takes a good afternoon when you take your time and recheck the torque on the U-bolts.
