You should have an idle mixture adjustment screw for each side. Slowly turn them in/out to obtain the highest idle speed on a warmed up engine. Go back and forth a few times and listen closely for best idle quality.

First I would buy a good quality carb cleaner. Pinch off the fuel line at the intake side of fuel pump with needlenose vicegrips. spray carb cleaner in to fuel bowl overflow spout (the spout is cut on an angle and is tall next to air cleaner stud.) let engine run on cleaner till it dies then fill float bowl with cleaner and let sit hour or so. then restart with fuel line unpinched.

Cleaner will get in to most all passages and clean varnish from passages.

Quick and cheep then adjust carb if needed.

PS most carbs have plugs that need to be removed to adjust air/fuel mixture.

they are on the bottom front where your idel mixture screws are,the caps are usually put on at the factory after it's set,you might have to pull your carb of if you have them, but take a good look first you don't want to take it of if you don't have to,somedodie here might have a way to get them out without reamoving the carb.
