Is anyone familiar with the "Engine Factory" out of New Jersey? I'm considering buying one of there turn key crate engines for my '89 F-250. See attached link! Any refferances good or bad would be appreciated.

Your money would be better spent on a Ford shortblock and aftermarket or reworked cylinder heads....

The Ford engines are rebuilt with tight specs using new production parts. (the parts have proven to last)

Sometimes we all look to get by spending the least amount of money....but don't overlook quality when it comes to spending your money.

Thanks for the reply but I've had the spec's of the components for this motor checked out and feel comfortable that this will be a fairly sound one. I think I was more interested in finding out if anyone was familiar with the "Engine Factories" reputation.

my friend got a 460 for his 68 Torino from fordcobraengines.com, the price isn't to bad and they do come ready as anything, the only thing he did was put in a more radical cam. Other than that they do good work and even initial your name in the valve covers. I plan on getting a 351 from them soon.

Cool

Thanks for your reply Nastruck95. I talked with a builder out here on the west coast and he felt that it looked to be a sound package for my F-250. I really appreciate your input on the subject cuz I just ordered a 351W- injected this morning. I'll try to get some feedback to you once I install it and get it running.
