can anyone near oklahoma city name a good place to get a paint job for a cheap price on an 82 ford f 100. The body is in fair shape, I have a few spots i will hammer out and repair myself. All i want is a plain gloss black paint! Thanks
hey fan....I hear Maaco is not a bad place if you do a lot of the sanding yourself....A inmate that I knew while working in prison, said they were o.k., and he was a body man, and pretty good as I understood it....so, you might check it out....Remember, you would need to do some sanding....because of the price...they probably don't put out a lot of effort....black is pretty...but shows a lot of dents and dings on new paint....your choice....!
I used Maaco to have a 1976 Ford F250 repainted. They did the machine sanding but no dent repair for $250. It looked good when it was done. I have pics of it on my gallery.
My son took his 1978 Malibu there to get it painted white. He had to bring it back a couple of times to get some spots fixed that had a run or not enough paint. They did repair the spots under the warranty. Be sure to look it over well when it is done.
There is a new Maaco shop in Norman now on I35.
