ya but I'm not talkin numbers right now. i'm talkin I would like to have an engine i can drive for more than a couple weeks at a time before it needs rebuilt for one reason or another. I know that this is extreme but its about how my engine is and i've heard a lot of people complain about the reliability of the 351 M. Around my town when you say 351 their eyes light up and ask CLEVELAND??? and i'm like nope Modified...then they get a look on there face like they ate an orange and suggest switching. BUt very few people complain about the 400

Everyone would suggest switching to a 351C, from a lot of engines, it has one of those reputations. If you tell me you have a 302 and I ask BOSS, where do you think I'll head next? You have to be comfortable with the engine you have and if there is something YOU want, then put it in. One thing that I have learned, you are never satisfied if you were not the driving force behind the decision... If you need a quick fix, by a remanufactured engine and drop it in while you build your beauty.

I'll send you some info on a performance 400 build Wednesday...
Good luck!

Thank you very much. I know I'll never ever be satisfied but with all the troubles i've had w/ this engine I feel that I'll trust it more w/ the 400 even though its essentially the same, at least the name is different haha. And I won't have the horror stories in the back of my mind from the 351.......I'll get a whole slew of new horror stories from people w/ 400s now haha.
