I haven't except when I've stopped hard on wet surface. Mine would be ABS kicking in. If that's not the case for you, it certainly wouldn't be "normal".
Wouldn't it be interesting to find out that the truck's computer figures out that if the wipers are working, it must be raining, so.... It puts a little ABS into the braking? If it didn't sound so annoying, I'd say "wow, this truck is smart!"
Of course, I don't know for sure if that's the case. It sure would be nice to know how many other undocumented features are in this truck!
It's definitely not ABS. I was driving in the rain tonight and the pedal moves side to side very slightly each time the wipers begin movement. ABS pulstates your pedal back and forth.
I'm guessing that the brake pedal is mounted to the same structure as the wiper motor, and the vibration travels through that material.
That's too bad. I liked my reason better! Hopefully it's just a loose nut or something simple like that. I haven't seen your problem posted here before (I'm new, but I read EVERY thread!), so I hope it's not a design flaw.
