HomeLink; Battery Saver; High Altitude Mods
I was going through the build list for Ford Expy 2001 (focusing on the EB to be purchased used, obviously...) and i had a couple questions about the following features
HomeLink
Is this just a programable garage door opener mounted in the visor (with possible other electronics in the grill or elsewhere)?? Or is there some other function to the three buttons on the visor?
Battery Saver
I saw this on the features list on this website...anything special other than providing some kind of protection to not run down the battery? Possibily tied to turning off the llights automatically?
SecureLock (Passive AntiTheft System)
Is this just the keypad door unlock pad near the handle...or would this be also an actual car alarm...
High Altitude Mods
In the feature list it mentions a "package" that mods the car for extended use at high elevations....does anyone know what the mods are??? would be interested as I am in Colorado Springs at 6k feet...
Thanks for any feedback.

Homelink is most like a permanently installed, triple function remote control. It "learns" from other remotes and can be used for gates in addition to garage doors. They probably have a website if you need more info.
The PATS is just as its name implies, an anti-theft device. There is a small chip in the key and in the steering column. Unless the key and the column are in sync with one another, the vehicle won't start.
I don't know about the other two options.
Good Luck.
