hey dusty

quit complaining about excuses to drive your new vehicle

or......
actually at the mileage a new ford gets..... it would cost you 40miles/12mpg*$1.80/gal = (ching ping bang... patooyie....)$5.99 in gas

have the dealer ship the box UPS for $4.00
just a thought.

You're right, it's cheaper to have it shipped, but they won't do it. I may as well enjoy the drive!

Ouch! I hadn't done the math yet as far as what it costs per day to drive the truck to work. It's about the same distance.

Got the sunglasses binsert today.

It is cool. A sturdy black back that fits right into the bin-the door of the bin is slightly recessed so that the binsert fits into the recess. Attached to the back are two little pockets, each attached with three elastic straps which will hold a pair of glasses, with or without the case. There is a little loop sewn into the top of the binsert to pull it out of the recess if you want to remove it.

First I put my glasses in, then I borrowed the parts guys' pen and slipped it through the loop tab at the top-worked nicely. What to do with the other glasses pocket?
I took my cell phone out of my pocket and it slipped nicely into the other pocket.

Now I've got my glasses easy to reach and not sliding around the dash if I have to stop quickly, my cell phone where I can grab it without looking and a pen where I can always grab it without digging through the armrest storage or door pocket.

Now the large bin that came with the truck has changed from something that looked neat but I didn't know what to do with, to the first thing that I reach for when I get in or out of the truck.

$11.95 and it has a little white patch with blue "F 150" sewn on the right pocket.

(Thanks rambunctious-now you owe me a first-aid kit for this endorsement! Just kidding, I do appreciate the info that helped me to get what I wanted.)
