Guys, I'm no moderator but can we keep to the subject please instead of falling off track and talking about pets and acts of sexual aggression?

Magnaflow makes high flow cats that will allow you to leave out one cat also, but they are just $82 ea. . $500 sounds a little steep.

That is what I have, all my cats still on, one pipe coming out of the cats and the pipe dumps out b4 the right side rear tire.
Would it be louder if I installed the 40 series Flowmaster??

Magnaflow

do they make thes high flow cats for bolt on operation or is it weld in? I need to replace both my cats on left and right banks since they are bad, the couls like screaming kittens when I'm at idle. It gets really annoying.

Plus louder is better!

I would assume they are welded? I've never really checked myself. If the old ones are welded then you will probably have to weld the new ones on. Dunno for sure though, I'm a breeeetard when it comes to welding stuff.

I find my stainless steel single in/ dual out exhuast, with turndowns, to have a aggresive sound when I get on the gas, but without being to loud when cruising. I have 3inch pipe from the cats back to the muffler( and the I can see from one side of the magnaflow to the other). Flows well, I think. Too well, my fuel economy went down a little. Need to get a mac air intake to balance it out.

It doesn't have the throaty V8 sound, but It does sound more agressive, especially as the RPM's grow higher. IT defiantly sounds better at higher RPM's. The dual exhuast out to the bumper sounded like the v6 was struggling to push the exhuast out, but it sounds ok now. I have tp listen to it more closely next time I take it out.
