Auxiliary Fuel Tank on Superduty (Has Anyone did it)
Has anyone moved the spare tire and installed the rear fuel tank
on 99 and later f250 4x4 superduty short beds ?
Just looking at this, seems it is possible!
Any thoughts?

I haven't, but I happened to be looking at fuel cells last night, thought I would pass along this info... FuelSafe has 35 and 50 gal tanks made specifically for the Ford F-series, fits where the spare tire is. The tanks are compatible with diesel too. Not sure the cost though. There's a pic at www.fuelsafe.com/SpecialtyApplications.htm

I checked into that....4x4 place around here would install a 19 gallon tank, plumbed into the main tank, so you only have just the one spout to fill. Out comes the spare tire, mount it elsewhere. All for the measly price of $780. I can carry a lot of metal jeep cans for that.
