I feel like I'm buying a Pandora's Box...surprise, porked again! I got a half a mind to tell them forget it even if it cost me the 500 deposit...what the heck am I getting myself into?

look it over real good look under the truck at the trans. make sure rear main oil is not there. there will be a small spot of oil on the bell housing. check the oil level make sure it is not over filled. what year is it. also you might want to drive it and see if they have fixed the droan noise at between 1500 to 2000 rpm if you do alot of city driving is a pain to hear all the time.

Sounds like a little far fetched and he will have to tie the doors and bed on with bailing wire after 40,000 miles when they fall off.

What!...I'm sure it's a sweet motor but, come on now that's like putting an Evolution or a Twin Cam on a Honda frame! These jokers are going to get me a new truck...they don't know who their dealing with. I haven't signed a thing yet. I know one thing, I got to get a leveling kit at the least for this beast....I can't believe they don't do something about the way these trucks sit with a diesel over the axle. What are they thinking? 8" lift eventually but for now I got to get this thing to sit right. I told them I'm not accepting it without the hood blanket or the glove light either...Ford thinks they are going to deleate something and still charge me! that's double money for them...price still stayes the same and their not BUY/paying for the parts anymore. The least they can do is give you a credit somehow.....what's up with that?....I'm so freakin agrevated right now...... Also told them I want the Quote Rebate too....they are going nutz.......I want everything...EVERYTHING...YEA!...GRRRRRRR....

It takes a different kind of animal to drive a Dodge. They are so different from a Ford or even a Chevy. I could understand a Chevy, or even a Toyota (puke) but NEVER a Dodge. I have a good friend that has a 03 Dodge dually with a cummins. He doesn't lie even when it costs him money. He says 16 MPG on the ROAD. His Truck RATTLES bad after 18,000 miles. He used to take it back to get the body screwed back on but he has decided, It's a DODGE, what the heck...

With all do respect tn mac, the Dec. flash changed the way the 4th & 5th gear trans brake is activated. Originally any time you released the accelerator in Tow/Haul mode the transmission would engage the trans brake features in all gears. Now after the Dec. flash if you are in 4th or 5th gear and Tow/Haul mode, and lift off the accelerator the tans brake feature does not automatically engage, to engage trans brake in 4th or 5th gear you must touch the brake pedal, 1st time starts lock up second time starts downshift. I was told by a tech that FMC changed the activation of the the Tow/Haul in 4th & 5th gear do to complaints of harsh shifting when the accelerator was released at highway speeds in Tow/Haul mode.
