Westin or Nasta ???

I've looked through the forums and I haven't found a comparison with these two bars. I would like to hear reviews on either before I buy. I live in the Midwest and I get a lot of salt on my F150 4X4 in the winter so rust and corrosion are big concerns. Thanks for the input. Steven

I have both the Westin Bull Bar and the nerf bars. I bought them both in the chrome plated stainless steel. As far as I am concerned, they last very well in the winter. I live in southern Maryland, but I go to school in western Maryland, which is way up in the mountains. We get a lot of school and my truck is covered in salt. The chrome stands up to it very well. I just wouldn't let it stand on there because if it stands for long, it will cause it to eat away.

Thanks for the input togaduke. I'm leaning toward Westin, but I'm still wondering if the Nasta bars install the same as the Westin bars and how sturdy are they. One more question...Do the Nerf bars hook up to the frame of the truck or do they attach to that lip just under the door???

The nerf bars installed on the lip under the door. They are very sturdy though. I thought they wouldn't be as sturdy as they are so I was surprised. They were fairly easy to install too.

I have my chrome Westins welded to the frame. Very solid and clean. I very much like Westins quality.
