Blower motor making noise

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I need to know if anyone else is having trouble with there blower motor? I have had my truck in for a total of six days trying to get my blower motor fixed. It squeals like a stuck pig and I either have to drive with the heat of -4 here today or listen to this thing squeal They say ( the dealer I bought it from) that there is no fix and that the submitted a claim to Ford and Ford is aware of the problem. The first time they sprayed the motor and the second time they replaced the motor. The is the third time in and no fix. Yes this may be minor but when you pay this much for a truck you dont want to hear a squeal when driving it. Otherwise I love the truck but cranking up the radio to cover the noise is not a option.

JD,
I also have experieced this. But the squeal lasted for only a couple of seconds and only twice. I also can say that it was during the coldest nights (-19). I have not heard this since. Hope you get your truck fixed soon. Keep us posted. HH

I have a 04 FX4 SuperCrew. I noticed the fan motor made a disturbing noise after owning the vehicle for 2-days! The noise wasn't as bad as you described, however I could here it and I wasn't pleased. When this occurred it was 12 degrees outside. It lasted only a couple days and it went away. Hopefully for good. I have the captains chairs with center console and I really don't want the dealership taking this dash apart. I'll check back to see if they solved your problem. Good luck!
