I was looking at trucks at the Chicago Auto Show today and I seem to have developed a serious jones for a F150 FX4 S-Crew in Vivid Yellow. Something to match my wife's car (My son tells me that Ford uses the same color yellow for their trucks that Mazda uses for some of their cars.)
I've been haunting some of the threads here and it seems like this is a popular color but I could not find anyone who has pictures of their yellow truck in their gallery. If you have pictures of one here or somewhere else please point me to them. (I'll clean the drool off my keyboard later. ) I'll 'trade' for pictures of a red '95 F250 S-Cab 4x4 if you really want to see it.
If I can figure out why I keep getting an error message when trying to post my pics Ill tell you to look in my gallery. But I cant. On the other hand, I love the color of my FX4. I looked at the others but seemed to ordinary. I have gotten lots of compliments on the truck of course, but also for the color. You wont regret. Go for it. HH
Glad to hear your getting positive feedback on the Yellow! I hemmed and hawed about it knowing my parents would think I was nuts. My wife gave me her passive approval of it as well, so I went ahead and did it. My dealer says its on the train heading south right now, but he doesn't know when it left the yard so I could get it this week - maybe early next week. I just hope its soon. I have a couple who wants to buy my Expedition for several thousand more than the dealer will give me for a trade in, but I can't keep them on hold for much longer.

Sorry but still getting an error with the gallery. Got to figure it out. My wife also gave me the passive approval. Folks at work thought I was nuts, but when they saw it, their frowns turned into grins. Tex, hope you get you truck soon. I would work something out with your potential customers 'cause several thousand is what it is. Find some carrot to dangle in front of them. Good luck. HH
P.S. Anyone one why I get error saying I must have JPG/JPEG image when trying to upload? My images ARE JPEG. Thats how my camera saves the files and thats how I find them in my 'puter. Thanks

I see you've got the LineX liner. What color did you go with? (It doesn't look like it was installed in the picture.) I'll probably go with Rhino because our local applicator does a *great* looking job and uses about 3x the material that the local LineX guy puts down.
My wife noticed the baby seat when I showed her the interior. wimmen!
I had the Line-X sprayed in black shortly after the first pictures I had posted. I went with Line-X because the guy who does them locally does a great job as well. The black color of the Line-x really looked good in the bed. All of the black features really break up all the yellow and really look nice.
I'll post some pictures of mine if Ford ever decides to build it. Ordered 1-31-04, still no vin# yet. Till then try and picture this in your heads.
Blaze Yellow FX4 supercab with 5.5 bed, black leather, black tube running boards, black rhino liner, Pittsburgh Steeler front plate, top mounted machine guns, dead 14 point whitetail buck in the back.......well, those last two may have been a bit much.
Something to match
