adjusting pushrod in master cylinder

i did a 77 brake conversion on my 1975 ford truck and havent been able to get brakes after all new parts and proffessional bleeding.
someone said my stroke ratio might be off and i was wondering what the lentgh is suppossed to be for the adjustable rod going from booster to master cylinder if anyone could help that would be great.

bob arrington is new and has a neutral reputation at this point.
with the brake pedal all the way up , adjust the rod so that it just touches the piston in the master cylinder , if that doesnt get you brakes tou either need a longer rod ,or somthing else is wrong, bob btw what was the difference in the years on the brakes?
