I got my truck today!! My dealer told me it would take six weeks when I ordered it on Jan 5th. Monday Feb. 16th would have been exactly six weeks. I knew it was getting close because I called VOPC yesterday and they told me it left the Rail Yard in New Orleans on Thursday (I'm only 75 miles from New Orleans). It came in to the Dealer at 8:30 AM this morning and I rode by at 10:00 and saw it. I picked it up at 11:30. So it was only on the dealer's lot for 4 hours. That's another reason I like to order my vehicles. It's been pouring down rain here for 2 weeks and today is no exception. Anyway I've been out driving; I love this truck! I only stopped long enough to come in and let you guys know my good news! Now I headed back out on the road. My wife thinks I'm nuts!

Congratulations on the new delivery! It's good to hear that Ford can produce a vehicle in a reasonable amount of time, especially with the audiophile and the tubular boards. Don't worry about the wife, though. Women think we're crazy no matter WHAT we do, so we may as well do what makes us happy.
Neil - thanks for your help with the other site. You made my waiting a little easier! They still don't have the problem fixed. I've tried to register 3 times under different email addresses and still can get no email confirmation from them so I can't sign on. I haven't been able to play with my truck very much. Yesterday being Valentines day, I had to submit to the wifes wishes. Today I'm going to install the BedRug, Access Roll-up Cover and Putco Chrome Door handles. I'll try to take some before and after photos to post. Please be sure to let us know when your truck comes in!

I've had 4 new trucks and have slept in everyone of them the first night I had them in the garage.....this will be the first Feb delivery, however....time to get out a sleeping bag!!!
