front axle ?? for '77 f-250

im wondering if anyone can help?.....my friend says theres a f-250 with a low pinion dana 44 in it, well he can't tell me whether or not its a flat top knuckl and if its a closed knuckle or open... .....anyway....please any help is appreciated

Txquadhunter24 is starting off with a positive reputation.
pre 75.5 was all low pinions. they are found in open knuckle axles and all close knuckles where low pinion if i recall
