Oil pressure sending unit - for new guage
hey all, i just bought a new oil psi guage, and i was wondering where the "warning light sender" is or the real sending unit for the built-in guage, i did buy an electrical guage, so am i going to need a t-fitting for this application?
thanks again,

I am also having issues installing an oil pressure gauge sender. The original gauge/light sender is located on the back of the engine at the top.
I am trying to retain use of the factory gauge and have the new electic gauge. I am having an interference issue with the vacuum port for the power brake booster. The oil pressure port is slightly angled toward the vacuum port, so I can't get around it. I am trying to find another port I can tap into.

Have You checked by your oil filter for a pipe thread outlet? Only problem is it is not 1/4 or 3/8 had to make atool of my own to fit it . I installed short nipple, 90 el and Auto meter electric sending unit. Only other problem it gives pressure from the pump not through the engine. Also installed one inline with trans cooler and one on water temp. Good Luck
