3.0 Horsepower buildup

What is the best way to build up a 3.0 without major alterations to the engine on a 2004 Ranger XLT and without hurting the warranty? I have heard about a SpiralMax Twister thingy you put in the air duct vent that will boost power but not sure if this is a glimick or what.

Also mufflers I have heard boost horsepower. This 3.0 is rated at 154 horses stock and I would like to get up to at least 200+ any suggestion please?

200 HP without supercharging is going to be tough. The Spiral Max thing is junk, I was stupid once and got a Tornado that does the same thing. All it is is a restriction. The place to start is getting the motor to breathe. A good true cold-air intake (has a heast shield) and a full exhaust (Headers, high flow cat, and cat back system,) would be a good place to start. A chip will be a must, the diablo chip should give you up to a 10% HP increase, or 15HP. I would imagine that all of that may get you a 20-30 HP gain, but to get up and over 200 HP you will probably need a new cam. Do some research and figure out what you want your truck to do. There are tons of options available to customize your ride.
You might find that to get the power that you want, supercharging is going to be cheaper. You could easily spend over $2000 and not get the same power that a supercharger will give you.
