Is 90 Bronco II fuel pump bad?

I have been reading these forums for a lot of my ford problems, and they really help. This is my first time asking a question, so any and all help would be great. 90 bronco II 2.9l 4x4. started fine, then one day it stalled and I haven't got it to start since. There is fuel, dry gas in tank. I hear the (intank) fuel pump come on when i turn key. I replaced the fuel filter, I have spark, all fuses are ok. fuel reset button on firewall on passanger side is ok. I just checked the fuel pressure valuve near the fuel injecturs, but nothing came out (air or gas). does this mean even though I hear the fuel pump working, it could still be bad, or do I have another problem? I could use all the help I can get, I am not a pro, just a do it yourself guy. Thanks!

Welcome to FTE!!!

If you cycle the pump a few times and you don't get any fuel at the rail either the line or filter is clogged, or the pump screen is clogged or the pump is bad. Please be careful checking the fuel pressure by pressing the valve on the fuel rail, if you have pressure it will squirt out with some force and distance.

I have an intermittent problem with my fuel pump also. When I turn the key to the "on" position, I hear the "click" from the fuel pump but not the pump spinning up. After I find another ride, get picked up, or walk, the problem fixes itself. The next time I go to the truck, the click is there, the pump spinning up is there, and voila! It cranks! It happens every time! Gremlins I swear!
