backup switch location

I have a 75 F250 4x4 with a NP435 and divorced Np205. I found my backup light plug dangling under the truck and I'm tryin to figure out where on the transmission it goes. My haynes manual said it was near the back end of the transmission but I didn't see anything obvious back there for the plug in. Thanks again for your help guys.
