Mustang fuel injection on truck
#2
What part of the fuel injection? The wiring harness will need to be modified to plug into the existing truck harness, or the truck harness needs to be updated with the correct parts and pin locations for the mustang computer. You will need a mass air meter, and an injector wiring harness for sure. If you are talking about the intake manifold, yes it will bolt to the engine, but it will be difficult (not impossible by any means) to get the throttle linkage, etc. working correctly. You'll also lose a lot of low end torque with the mustang intake manifold.

The fuel injectors are exactly the same, and the Mustang upper will not mate with the truck lower. You'd have to run the upper and lower from the Mustang to be able to use it. The truck intake flows more, so I've heard, and it makes sense, the ports are much larger. It is also better for low end torque with longer runners.
