Finding a 1980's stepside bumper

Hey everyone. I have a 1980 Ford F100 Stepside, that I would like to get a new rear bumper for a stepside ford 80-86. Any ideas of where I could get it at? Any places you've seen that carry them? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dan

Are you looking for the straight bumper or a step bumper? Painted or chrome? My stepside has a dealer installed chrome step bumper that looks good, but I think the straight on might look better on a 2WD truck. I think the straight bumper is the same as 50's ford pickups, and the step bumper might be the same as regular bed pickups of the same year of your truck.

I tried a regular styleside chrome step bumper on my flareside truck but it was too wide and made the truck's appearance not good at all. I would like a chrome step bumper that is about as wide as my tailgate (like the original straight bumper).

Even the straight bumper is wider then the tail gate, it comes out to about the edge of the lights on either side, same with my step bumper. Looks ok.

I bought a Jeep CJ bumper and it is about the same width as the tail gate on mind, but I would still like to find an original.

I'd rather go with a step bumper from a 94-96 Ford flareside truck. Anyone seen where I could get one from? Thanks.
