transmission shimmy

My auto transmission shimmy's when it shifts from drive to overdrive? Will friction modifier fix. Also, is there anything that I need to adjust while I am in there?

A fluid/filter change, plus friction modifier, might help. Check the transmission section for "E4OD" and lockup clutch problems, and you'll probably find your problem described quite well.

Is it an AOD or an E4OD?
