SOSRICKY is starting off with a positive reputation.
Mark3 conversion,changing carburator

Ok I have a 84 mark 3 conversion van I changed motors last year (junkyard motor ) it came from a LTD, so I had to change oil pan etc etc, while I had the pan off I checked clearances and was satified with the normal wear ,I am(or was) a machinist by trade. Any way I want to put a holley 4412 series carb on it but due to my luck I happen to have the automatic overdrive tranny, holley does not offer any thing close to a way to hook up my linkage for this transmission ,(they even say "not for automatic overdrive transmissions")Now I know that somewhere ,somehow, sombody out there has done it. it's human nature if they say it can't be done somebody done it !! So my question is how'd you do it.
Normally I'd just jump right into it and figure it out but --due to my recent back surgery I'm really limited on time on my feet (but I still got a hard head)especially tryin to rig up something on a van that "ain't suposed to work so could somebody please give me some advice
Thanks
