Car seats in SCAB?

Car seats in SCAB?
I think I remember seeing this topic on another forum, but I was hoping that some dads with 2004 F-150 SuperCab could comment on car-seat compatibility. I'm not a father yet, but our next vehicle purchase will have to handle car-seats, both infant and toddler. I'd rather stick with the SuperCab short-box because of my miniscule garage.
The SCREW would obviously be my first choice, but I'm really looking for input on the SCABs.
Any info is helpful. Great website!

Thanks JDaddy, that is exactly what I needed to know. I have about 230" from wall to door in the garage, and the 224" long SCREW would make the wife nervous on the rare occasions she'd be parking it. I'd rather take the SCAB and sleep soundly knowing that there is far less chance of my truck ending up in the kitchen! Thanks a ton.

I have two kids - one in a new kid (baby) seat in one in a booster seat. The baby seat (facing backwards) works ok between the seats and the booster seat is okay behind the passenger seat, but not with the seat all the way back. The kid's legs stick straight out and push into the back of the seat. However, the back seat is great for three six year olds who are not in car seats.
I bought the SCAB so I could have a 6.5 foot bed - and assumed that most long distance traveling would be done in my wife's vehicle, which is much better suited to car seats.
The F-150 is sweet on the highway, though, so we may have to just live with the passenger seat a little farther forward than we like!
One other item - the suicide doors are a serious pain in the neck in a crowded parking spot or the garage. Getting both doors open to stick the car seat in can really be a challenge. If you don't need the 6.5' bed, I'd do the Super Crew and take the shorter bed.
