Headliner

Has anyone else had a problem with their headliner pulling out from under the overhead door jamb? I have a regular cab and noticed the liner is pulled out from under the passanger side overhead door jamb. It has pulled away on the inner side (away from the door). Just curious if anyone else has noticed any issue with the headliner.

I am leaving on a 2 week business trip this week but I am going to take it by the dealer and give them a chance to look at it. Update will be posted when I return. Hope I didn't ruin anyone's day 'cause of this.

do you have any pics?

is it just the black rubber welt that needs to be "slid" back over the bare edge of the headliner?

rambunctious,

I put 2 pics in my gallery. The first pic shows the best view of the headliner seperating from the passanger overhead door jamb. The second pic shows the seperation from a different angle and you can just make out the hump along the door jamb cover. I'll take it to the dealer soon and post a reply then on the fix.

thanks Eagle1

I was thinking something a little different at first

looks like the dealer can fix it easy enough. looks like the Assembly plant may have hooked the edge of the headliner when installing the shield i hope. hopefully they can remove the cover, tuck the headliner back under, and reinstall.

otherwise the headliner will have to be replaced if it doesn't look right.

keep us posted

I'll be back from my business trip in 2 weeks and I'll take it to the dealer for evaluation then. I'll keep my promise to post the answer.
