Leaking Club Wagon

Since i bought this van i have had a overheating and antifreeze leak problem. I have changed 3 water pumps radiator and 2 thermostats. I took the thermostat out and the van did not leak or overheat all summer i recently put back in the thermostat now its starting to leak at the water pump. Some one please help.

You're not letting the thermostat slip down when you install it, are you? I've had that happen, it keeps the housing from sealing and it leaks. Where on the water pump is it leaking? Shaft, weep hole or mounting flange?

i am not really sure where it is leaking i have also had to replace the gaskets on the water pump mount 2 times there is no flow of the antifreeze once it gets hot so i do not know what the deal is. maybe i should get a lower temperature thermostat becuase it looks like it is not opening up when the antifreeze is hot. Also the the rear heater blows cold air even thought the front vents blow hot air.

Thermostat's not in backwards, is it? Don't know why you'd have so much trouble with the pump gaskets. As for the rear heater, if yours is like my 89, there is a vacuum operated heater control valve in the heater hose going back there. Might have a look at that, and make sure the rear heater core isn't plugged. What year is your van, what engine, etc.?

I am betting on an upside down T-stat!
