color match car polish from turtle wax

i'm looking to polish and wax my truck. i hear good things about the mcguires 3 step process so i'd like to try that. the other day i saw, from turtle wax, a polish that helps the color. i have a red truck so i would get the red polish, replacing the polish i would use from mcguires. anybody try these color polishes?

Its a gimmick, you have a clear coat paint job, imagine smearing it on your windshield. I can't imagine putting something red over something clear, and getting an even finish.

The colored polishes do help to hide scratches, but it's strictly tempoprary- the scratches will reappear in a few months. Not to mention, you have to wear gloves when applying the stuff- it's very messy stuff to work with, unless you don't mind your hands matching the color of your truck!
