Towing Capacity...

I am looking for the towing capacity for an '83 F-100. It's the 4.9L, and I am looking to install some "nice" towing accessories, that is if it is worth it. Most of the "replaceable" parts have been replaced at least once, the truck has had no major problems, the frame is still in great shape (wish I could say that about the cab). Thank you!
