I have 4 unconnected wires at the firewall labeled "Customer Access Circuits". I can't find any info on where these wires go in my factory service manuals. Does anyone know where these wires go?

There are through firewall wires provided for your convenience by Ford for attatching accessories from inside the cab to outside. (Sensors, controls, etc.)

If you look at the wire loom near the master cylender they are taped to the outside of the wire loom. they are shrinked wrapped individually to portect the ends.

 

What are these just dead lenghts of wire rub thru the firewall so that the customer doesn't have to stick wires thru the wall?? Are these on the 02's also. If so I'm glad I saw this post. Sounds like a real handy setup.

Yes. But they are rather small wires so don't count on using them to power anything "big". I don't know if they are on the '02s- you'll just have to look and let us know.
