87 F-250 4X4 460 starter wont stop starting!

Got a frustrating one. Just bought this F250 last May and its a good truck except the starter has a mind of its own. All started after it would not start one day Turn the key and click just once not a rattle of low voltage (new DieHard battery) suspected a solenoid cause jumping across it cranked the engine. Replaced solenoid and good buddy had a new reman starter from NAPA
so I installed it as well. Everything buttoned up and I turn the key and it starts but the starter keeps running! I pull the control wire off the solenoid and its still cranking. Had to use my negative battery terminal disconnect to stop the starter. So I figure I got a bum solenoid somehow so I run to the parts store and get another. Crank the truck and seems fine starter goes off when I release the key. Second start it does the same thing! Keeps cranking with the key released and the wires disconnected
from the solenoid. Have to disconnect cables to get it to stop.
Now Im not trusting the made in China mini-solenoids so I find a full size solenoid at the Ford store and install it. It worked fine for about 8-10 starts and then again the starter keeps cranking again!. My question is could the starter draw enough current to somehow stick the solenoid on? Thanks for any ideas.

Yes. If the solenoid(relay) is overloaded, the contacts will weld together in the solenoid(relay)

Thanks, thats the conclusion I'm coming to. The starter is creating my problem. It figures I go and put a "new" one on and create a problem. Should leave well enough alone! I guess its starter time this weekend!
