Bad subwoofer in 95 explorer

Has anyone had to change thier subwoofer in an explorer with the JBL soundsystem. The amp is good but the sub will not make a sound. I would like to keep it as stock as I can.

I bought Rockford Fosgate's Punch HE 6.5" sub from theZeb.com . $80 plus shipping. I bought it a year ago and is still working like a champ.

Look on ebay, there are usually some there (stock subs that is)

I got a factory replacement last night of ebay. It seemed like the easiest fix since it's for my daughters explorer. 96explorereddieb have you had any problems with your replacement. I am planning on replacing the speakers in my expedition this summer and the place you suggested has some good prices. Was it hard to put the new sub in the factory location?

I bought it a year ago and have no problems since. The bass is a lot tighter and sounds a whole lot smoother than the stock. I love it!!
