Lightbulb not a truck, but ford tempo, MODS?

Hello FTEF!!

My first time posting here,

just wondering what is the best mod for horsepower / speed in a

88' 2.3 ford tempo

i already tried the resistor's and pot's so, thats done,....any exhaust tips or engine tips?

I run dirt track/ (semi-junk race) so $$ should be the cheapest possible

any suggestions for them are gladly accepted
thanks

Build yourself a header, cut up a old one from a mustang or truck for the flange. If you take your time you might be able to do it with what pipe you have. Mill the head down they have a lot of material on them that can be removed. But basically anything that can be done to a rearwheel drive 2.3 can be done to yours.
