Just wanted to say hi, I am a new owner to a 1970 f-100, and will be planning on fixing it up. After surfing this site I have found lots of great info. I am located in Jackson Tn.

Thanks,
Lets see, something about me, well I live in Jackson and work for a food distribution center. I am married and have a 2 year old daughter, and 3 year old son. I like restoring old things. My home was built in 1906, and I am also restoring a 1929 ford a model roadster. This my 1st ford street truck, all of my previous toys were 4 wheeldrives, so I am now diving into something new.

For those interested and in west tenn, the truck I bought also comes with a 1970 longwheelbase parts truck, so if anyone is in need of small parts let me know, I have planned on stripping a couple of things I need and hauling the rest off.

Randy,
just to give you aheads up. Bed is pretty decent with some surface rust, it has the cargo box on passenger side. I don't know how bad your bed is, but with some sanding this bed would be decent, tailgate does have a rust hole in it, apparently this truck was a texas truck, still has texas tags, and is a 1971 explorer model.
