Questions on triple pillar gauge

I'm wanting to get a triple pillar gauge kit for my truck and found a pretty sweet deal on one but I'm not sure what gauges I need. I want the boost, transmission temp, and the EGT but not sure what boost or EGT I need. I can order the boost at either 35psi or 60psi (????) or the EGT from 1500 degrees or 2400 degrees (????) Which one do I need or do you recommend? Is the difference between them just for a cool factor?

Unless you have heavily modified your truck, 35 psi is more than enough, as is the 1500 EGT. You should NEVER hit 2400 degrees with a mostly stock truck. Something will have blown up long before then.

well, you want to keep your EGT's under 1250 at least not have it higher for extended times. Just pick one you want I have a 1500 degree one I can peg it but im not ever in it for long when I do. The boost gauge I also have a 35 psi I can peg it out also. Just Preference if I could i would of got a 50 psi or so boost gauge If I did it again. For the Pyro I dont find it necessary to have higher then 1500 mainly because Im never up that high for long.

Being in the 7.3 section you will never see anything above 30 or so PSI and if you mount the EGT sensor before the turbo the 2400 ,if after turbo the lessor. Did you look at the ispro thats what i have match the dash well hands and numbers. Diesel mannor was the place i used very easy to deal with.

Diesel manor is where I got my ISSPRO kit as well. I agree with the two posts above. You will notice the pyro moving the most but probably not near 2400 degrees.

Even pulling a load I don't see more than 1200 or 1300 degrees unless pulling a grade and getting into it and even then I back off and get her below 1300.
Love on your truck and it'll love on you.
