Angry ABS Light coming on.......

96 E-150 Clubwagon, 5.8L. ABS light keeps coming on. Checked all the wires and pads. Everything looks fine........

What should I look for?

see if you can have the codes read, like from Autozone. Probably the ABS sensor on the rear.

9 times out of ten there is a short in a wire or else a wheel speed sensor is out, if the ABS light is staying on unhook the battery in the vehicle for ten min to reset ecm codes, when you hook the battery back up and start the van watch to see if the light comes on right away or only when you drive, (right away=short in wiring or abs pump going bad) if you drive it and it come on (wheel speed sensor) or yea just go to autozone, they hook it up to a snap scanner and give you a printout of the codes and what they mean.
