eec111 was a cal-emissions control item one of fords better ideas (yea right) the rotor has 2 rotor tips and the cap has high & low cap terminals the c.p.s tells the computer which plug to fire and controls the timing no timing adj. and no parts in dist. not much imf. in the books firing order for both 351 & 302 is on top of orig. cap mine still has orig.

i have that system on my 83 351W..it is an early direct fire system....the timing is not adjustable...it is controled by a crank position sensor and ignition relay....and a main computer located under the drivers seat. I went through the same thing with mine...to find out info on that system look in a lincoln towncar book....early 80's model....it is the system used in those cars..that's where i found all the specs to get mine running and back in shape
