Is anyone familiar with installing a front license plate holder on a 99 Explorer Sport? The plastic fascia seems to be blocking any sort of access to the back side of the bumper.

 

I have the same problem with a 2000 mountaineer.

 

I went to the hardware store and got two metal type sheet rock anchors. Don't remember the size. Sized so it just passed through hole. I buttoned it all to the bumper and didnot use the screw to get a tighter fit. So, will, have to drill out if I ever want to chang it.

Do you know where I can get one of these front license plate holders? I just bought a 2000 Sport and it didn't come with one. Thanks.
