Cab windshield visor

I am looking for a visor that goes on the front of my cab on the outside above the windshield. Stainless steel or chrome or something shiny like that. I have only been able to find fiberglass ones and ones that have clearance lights built in. I do not want those ones. I have seen what i want on other 73-79 trucks going down the road but never get a chance to talk to them. Ive looked in the gallerys on here but i havent found one on a 73-79. Any help on where i can find one of these will be very helpfull. Thankyou. Trey.

GO Industries makes a round looking one. (#311). I'm not in love with Lund's visor for the '73-"79's-- I think it looks too modern for the truck. Bill.....

I agree with you Bill, the fiberglass Lund ones look too new, I was a metal one on my metal truck. I will do a google search on the GO Industries.

Allright here ya go!!!! I was cleaning my dad's crawl space last week and I found the box to a, I think it was stainless steel, visor that I bought back in 1979 for my first FORD. It was louvered.

The company name on it is J& J Enterprises out of Chino CA. Ialso have a phone # from the box: (714) 628-5679 and an 800# 367-4961

I will also go so far as to give you the part # 1014-1

I tried to call that 800 # last Sat and got no answer and have completely forgot about it till I saw your post, So if they only have 1 left LOL IT IS MINE LOL

Yeah, thats even better than what I was looking for. I wonder how much it will cost, that is if they still make them for a 73-79.

No wonder why I could not find this, it was moved.

Anyhow I ordered a stainless steel visor for my truck from J+J, they did not have it in stock but he said they can still make it and I should have it in a week! I can't wait to see how it look's on my black truck

The part # above is the correct #

You won't load the web page because the place went out of business. When I talked with the owner back then he was closing shop up. I ended up buying the last visor he had, I even tried to get him to make me another but he wouldn't. Here's the last one that was produced. I still have not had the courage to drill holes into my cab and don't know if I ever will but it sure is a nice piece to have.
