keyless entry

I just bought a 2000 F150 7700 with 5.4L truck has keyless entry but used dealer did not have the code for the entry pad. I have called the ford dealer and they said I need to take it in .I got a second remote for it and was able to program that. I thought maybe there was a way to get the code for the pad also ,under hood ,in the door panel ect...Any help would be very nice.thanks Sorry people I just noticed I put this in the A/C forum.

Alot of times ford puts the code on the computer witch is behind the kick panel on the passenger side. Its hard to see, but it should be there, you'll need a flash light.
