Steve, if your springs are 10 leafs thick, than they are the selects.. i run dual 5100s up front as recomended by many i talked to who run this setup, and have tried many others.. if you have the 10 leaf spring..(came out in 2002) .. then switch up to dual bilstein 5100's up front and you wont be dissapointed.

This is a really screwed up issue. If you look at all your Dell computer parts, they will most likely say " Made in China ", on the other hand, they are put together, wharehoused and sold here in the states. I dont' know. H*ll, your stock SD leaf springs are made in Mexico for sakes. Look at 'em if you don't believe me.
Seems we don't know where anything comes from anymore. I want to buy USA, but how do you know for sure. I say; call and ask and get a written guarantee on US made parts. Otherwise send it back and dispute the purchase on your credit card - you will never lose - or at least I haven't over the past 20 years.
Just my .02.

60 minutes just did a segment on call centers in India. The pay is $5k to $6k per year for a call center employee. The Philipines also. Thats big money for those folks over there. The corporate boys don't see the long picture: If you get rid of all the good paying jobs in this country, who's going to be able to afford their products?

f-250 w/6" superlift HORRIBLE RIDE!!
2001 F-25SD 4x4 v-10 with 6" superlift suspension. I initially bought the lift and went cheap with just front springs and rear blocks. Pulling a large boat so changed out rear leafs with BDS leafs (real nice-no sagging), and 3 inch block. I had also purchased the new 10 leaf front new leaf from Superlift and pulled the old 4 leaf out. Here is my problem, MY TRUCK RIDES LIKE A TANK!!!! I have the original shocks from when kit was purchased, lengths are just fine, schackles are loose enough too. I can feel an ant if I run over one right from the seat of my pants to my teeth! What caught my eye was the Bilstein 5100 series shock. I went to a local 4x4 shop and that is what they recommended. I have got to do something or sell this truck! This is terrible and if a shock fixes the problem, I am going to EAT Superlifts #$()())@#!@ss!!!!!! Yeah-made in INDIA!!! Superlift is OFF my list and everyone elses now in this town!!!!

As far as products made in another country and tech support being sent to India, That would be a direct result of Capitalism, the driving force in our country. Most of us that went to school learned it there and that is the reason why the U.S.A works. I don't agree with jobs going overseas but as long as the american consumer keeps buying these products, nothing will change. Just look at the superdutys we drive. Most of the parts are made in mexico or canada. Some were even made there as well.

That is your main problem. Those superlift shocks are so worthless.. the don't do anything. You need to upgrade those with some bilsteins or something.. i did and made all the difference in the world.
I'm having a hard time with this as my truck has an older 5 pack 8" lift with dual shocks. The company that installed my lift a year and a half ago, also installed the same lift on the owners truck, complete with dual shocks. Last month he replaced the 5pack superlifts with the new 10 pack softride springs by Superlift, and kept EVERYTHING else the same as mine. His truck rides awesome! ! Seems to me # of springs and thickness of said springs in relation to the amount arched determine ride quality more so than shocks. Shocks should come into play mainly to dampen bounce after the spring compresses and reloads right?

Stroker.. my skyjacker sagged, 3/4 " in 1 year.. BUT they setteled to exactly 6" of lift.. Cutos to skyjacker.. i really respect it when there R&D is soo accurate to give you exact lift as advertised.... Anyway my 4 month old 12" lift ATLAS springs... held 12" till strong for the first 4 months.. then i took a 7000 mile road trip pulling a Travel Trailer.. with 2 Quads in the back of the truck... when i got home and unloaded the springs never recoverd.. they sagged 1.5".. So i added the stock 2" block back under them.. and im good to go.. now theyve been on for 1 year and have not sagged any more.... as for your Q.. 1/4" is pretty good..
