The web sites all show this screen at $450.00. The specs state that it runs off AC. Question; does it really take 110 VAC or is it fed through a wall wort which supplies DC at a lower voltage. (Hopefully 12 volts). Also did you route the audio through your truck stereo? And last, what did you do for a signal. It has a built in tuner but are you using that with an outside antenna or are you feeding it off a portable DVD or VHS tape? Thanks for your input.

ok lets start with this
1 $450.00 for tv is a good price you can catch it on sale at best buy for that or search the net
2 the mount is $100.00 again check the net for better price(omnimount 75/100 fd flipdown)
3 i use the audio on the tv so the kids can listen to that and i can still fade to radio to front and listen to it(the tv also has a headphone jack)
4 i used a portable dvd player sitting on the seat under the center counsel in a padded dvd bag($30.00 at c-city) i do not have captians chairs
5 it does have a voltage converter on the cord and the output is 12v dc 4.5amp the cord that goes from the wall to the converter is removable the cord from the converter to the tv is not so you would have to cut it off. also the plug into the tv is a multi pin propriatary plug. i use a power inverter. you can buy another voltage converter from sharp for about $100.00. i would guess you could cut the converter off and hard wire it in. that also would make it easier to hide the wires which at this time i do not do-i run them across the roof and down the rubber trim on the back side of the b pillar . if you did try to hide the wires and did not hard wire it in dealing with that factory voltage converter would be a pain (i still use the tv in my camper and in my office at home)
6 i did hook up a crude off air ant. and got a couple of chans. i have ben looking at a few auto tv ants. on the net and i think i will hook one up
7 as far as inputs it has 2 standard av inputs and a component video/audio input
i am still working out the the install instructions
