Take it back to the shop anyway and have them check it out. That way if they say all is fine, and something breaks, you at least have some record that they said it was OK and they can't pin the issue on you. If its not OK, then at least they can fix it there before you wind up stuck somewhere. As for driving it now, I would at least call the shop and tell them what is going on. They did the work they should know what to expect.
