Question Heat does not get hot.

2000 Expedetion
I was refered here by my brother, after going to a few garages to have my heat checked and getting no results. My thermostat has been changed and heater cores flushed. The blower is working fine, my truck has to be running for at least 40 mins. before there is any pressure on the radiator hose and the hose then gets slightly warm. Ford dealership wants nearly a grand to check the blend door. Looking through other postings I saw that someone else had the same problem but did not get a reply on the cause. Could it be my water pump going bad?? Please HELP!
