I'v been looking for a good throttle body and I found one and then I found a throttle body spacer my question i guess is could i get both of these, or should i get just a spacer or the bigger throttle body. I'm trying to get the most hp i can. I have a 1998 mazda b-4000. any help would be appreciacted. thanks

No personal experience with TB's but I have heard lots of mixed opinion on spacers. Most say they do nothing or if they do it is all at top end and you will never see any benefit in normal driving. I know that the TB is a point of restriction in the intake, so I would say that the TB is your best route to go although I wouldn't make your descision off my input since I have no experience with them. Just relaying what I have read in these forums.

well thanks for ur input, now i got an ideal of how the spacer might workout. I think i might get the bigger throttle body, this way i know there less restriction. anyone else that wants to put in their two cents about which is better please do, thank u.

The intake spacer{the 1 betwen the upper intake and the lower intake} will do you more good then the throttle body spacer. It will lenghten the intakre runners and help keep the air cooler .JMO
