Offenhauser, 360 degree, dual port intake ??
I have seen a few of these lately on e-bay.
Would they make a decent truck intake?
Don't know anything about them. I mean, I have heard of the manufacturer, just know nothing of their applications.
Is the dual port like a dual plane you always hear about being what is needed in a truck?
Thanks.

I ran one years ago and I definetly liked it. Actualy the Offy "Dual-Port" is a compromise between a "dual-plane" and a "single-plane" manifold. It gives you small runners and high velocity on the primary side of the carb and large runners for top-end power when you open the secondarys.
If my memory serves me right its great for a 460 from 1,000 RPM through 6,500 RPM. I wouldn't hesitate running one on a truck.
