1999 F150 lift kit

Does anyone make these that arent over 2000 dollars. My friend is wanting a 4" lift for his 99 and he claims he cant find them for under 2 grand. Hes wanting to find one that is around a grand or less..... he prefers less. Hes a pavement pounder so he doesnt have to be top of the line.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

You aren't going to find a 4" lift for these trucks for less than 2-3 grand...for 4" of lift, you're talking about a suspension lift, and with the independent front suspension, it's costly....The only alternative is to go with a 3" body lift...anywhere from 150-200 bucks.

The cheapest lift I've seen 4in for 199 F-150 $1500, but you're gonna have to pay someone to install it.

I have a 99 f150 sport 4x4 with a fabtech 6" performance lift kit, 16x 10 extreme alloy rims with 35" 12.50r 16 pro comp xterrains. I got the whole setup for just under 3k. I did it in my driveway in a day and a half. Call 4 wheel parts wholesale for knowledgable sales staff. they can put you in what you need.
The lift kit itself was $1600, not too bad on the wallet.

oh-yeah

remember that the extra couple hundred you pay for a good lift kit will save the extra couple thousand for major repairs because it didn't hold up. I found if you go a little bigger than you first plan you'll be happier. I mean, we are all tough guys in here right?
no matter what you do investigate all your options before you purchase anything. always be patient until you are 100 percent sure of what YOU want.
