think it should be somebody with a lot of posts(experience about the way things go on the board) or somebody that has spent a lot of time on the boards (here once a day or so)
As to specific people, people should toot their own horn here, nominate yourself or somebody else.

You have more posts than me, so I nominate you at the moment.

By the way, you are on wheelingarizona.com, aren't you?

I would be 'TallGuy' on that board. And yes, I have. I am in there more often than I am in here.

Back to the topic of this thread... Post up!!!!

I'll second the nomination of ANdrewdice, but I would also like to hear his views on campaign finance reform before we get too far along in this election.

I have been avoiding this but, since andrew has 3 votes already, I guess I can ask.....what's all involved with this leader thing anyways? Not to say that I want it (because I would rather not) but, I'd hate to see this chapter go down for the lack of one. By the way, let me nominate andrew too.( that would make 4.)

ok, as far as I understand this chapter thing, the leader has to coordinate the off-line meetings (witch we need to have one by the first of June, so no sweat there) The meeting place will most likely be Phoenix because it is smack dab in the center of the state. we will probably have to elect a multi-tiered system (president, vice president, secretary, commissioners and/or officers etc. as well as like a photographer, but most of us will probably have cameras and digital cameras so that department will be taken care of.) It is every members responsibility (of the Az chapter) to spread the word about our chapter and FTE in general. not that big of a deal, if you see another ford owner and have small talk with him/her, mention this site, also if you go to a big event, maybe we can print up some flyers and conspicuously litter them around. We are not allowed to misrepresent FTE and such...and last but not least, there will need to be some sort of store to make profits for our chapter. If I missed anything or misread anything, please post up and correct me.

If I indeed take this position, I will be in touch with some of the Phoenix residents to help locate some places to meet, fourwheel, show and tell, etc. Im am a little worried about not being able to live up to the responsibilities of all this, I work full time and go to school full time. I will try my hardest to get all this going and keep the AZ chap open. I will need some help though, thank you all for the nominations and what not. I hope we can descide soon and get the ball rolling, we are running behind with all this stuff.

I know what you mean by busy. I have quite a bit on my plate right now too. I would like to see this chapter move up but, it doesn't seem to be very active here. Don't know if that's because everyone spends there time on the other boards or what. I know there are people here, where are they?

What's involved in being part of the chapter

I check the FTE at least 1 per week - so I'm not a big user. I tend to go when I need help with something.

What's involved in having a chapter? I usually go to the board related to the topic I'm interested in - say A/C or big blocks.
