How many classic cars/trucks have you owned?

79 Trans Am
68 Mustang

I miss the TA but I sold it after I got done with the body and motor work on the Stang. My girlfriends uncle bought it from me after a car show in which I had both cars entered. I also met my girlfriend when I droped the car off the next day. So I guess it worked out for the best.

How many classic cars/trucks have you owned?

Well I once had a '77 T-Bird w/302; power everything..... As cars (ick, gag, puke) go, that has always been my favorite in every way.

I also once had a 1968 1/2 Saab Sonnet II. Actually I was a co-owner on that, but the primary driver That little number was British Racing Green....very commanding, lol!

I also once had a 1967 Karmengea (sp?)........Oh my goodness, that little car was a riot! But do not try to go over 40 MPH, even on an on-ramp, ha ha! (Well not too awfully funny at the time..) My dad and I owned that one, and we didn't have it long....thank goodness.

Then I also owned (just myself unless otherwise said.. ; ) a 1963 Buick Special. I loved that car!

For awhile I had a 71 AMC Matador. It of course was a 4Dr, ROFL!!!! As much as I don't cotten to AMC/Jeep I must say that was a neat little car!

I co-owned a 914 for awhile. Too long, ha!!

DISCLAIMER: These are not vehicles that I necessarily know all the innards about. Just ones that I owned/drove. (Lot's more that aren't that interesting, but I don't want to bore you Gents...

Is She named Christine by any chance??? Just kidding; but so many folks think that Christine the car in the Stephen King book/movie of same name was a Plymouth Fury. But she was a Belvedure!

Do you have that old bad A$$ed 440 in her????

No, that car had a 426 Hemi, duel quad intake, column shifted TF, Dana 60 w3.54 rear end( same as my '66 F-100), Dark Blue, taxi interior, sold in 1972 for $1800, bought for $1500 ($750 each for my friend and I) we thought we was some real smart boys at the time.

How many classic cars/trucks have you owned?

Let's see....Here's the list of the ones I'd consider to be classics today:
1961 Studebaker Lark VIII - 289 (not Ford), 3 spd (1st car)
1966 Ford 105E Anglia - 67ci, 4spd (looked like the one in the Harry Potter movie but dark blue)
1967 Pontiac GTO Ram Air - 400, 4spd
1968 Buick Riviera GS - 430, auto, 8-lug wheels
1965 Chevy Pickup - swapped in a '71 GTO 400 engine, orig 3-spd
1966 Cadillac Coupe De Ville - 429?, auto
1972 Ford Gran Torino - 351C, auto
1965 Chevy Pickup - 250, 3spd

There was probably about a dozen or so in there that I wouldn't consider classic and don't wish I still had today. But out of this list I guess the Riviera GS and Studebaker top the list of what I wish I still had. The little English Ford wouldn't be far behind.

How many classic cars/trucks have you owned?

Thanks for the Binder link, Ironbelly. Any truck lover probably appreciates the International brand, I get kinda weepy eyed thinking about Herbie the Metro van, provided several years off and on of mobile living space for those sometimes months and months long road trips back in the day, just remembered a '68 Dodge Charger, I lived in that $400 car for a whole winter in Ocean Beach, Cali on a winter escape from the Oregon rains. Ah youth.
